Customs: Russia’s potash fertilizer exports rise 13% in Jan–Apr
MOSCOW, Jun 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s exports of potash fertilizers rose 13.3% on the year to 2.33 million tonnes in January–April, the Federal Customs Service said in a report on Tuesday.
In monetary terms, potash fertilizer exports increased 38.5% to U.S. $590 million in the period.
Russia’s exports of nitrogen fertilizers rose 1.4% to 4.36 million tonnes in the period worth $965.1 million, up 12.5%.
Compound fertilizer exports fell 12.5% to 3.578 million tonnes with the cost of exports falling 3.5% to $1.11 billion.
Methanol exports grew 18.1% to 745,300 tonnes with the cost rising 2.9% to $207.9 million.
Calcium phosphate exports went up 4.7% to 807,100 tonnes worth $105.5 million.
